Incredible end to the 3rd and entire 4th quarter. The RG was full and we were all on our feet cheering the team on. It was a great victory - emphatic and decisive. We absolutely obliterated Maurice's team in the 4th. Fun!! Gonna be a tough game tomorrow against a Utah team with revenge on their minds and looking for anything good to stem their losing streak. Take it to 'em Blazers and make it 14! Wheeeeeee!!

3- Three Point Plays For Roy
posted: at 4:31 PM

Despite Portland still trailing by 5 points with 3:45 to go in the 3rd, the MVP of the quarter has been Brandon Roy, holding it together for the Trail Blazers and scoring 9 points in the quarter, all three-point plays off of fouled shots.

Steve Blake has been doing a tremendous job on both ends- and now with 2:20 left Blake has just hit a 2 and a 3-pointer back to back, bringing the 76er lead within 2!

Maybe I spoke too soon, Blake may be the quarter mvp!

The updated score is now 59-61 76ers leading.

Roy Bringing it Back
posted: at 4:20 PM

After Steve Blake hit a big 3 to halt a 76ers run, Brandon Roy had a big 3 point play after sinking a fouled shot and the accompanying free throw. Roy has been having a tough time so far as Philadephia has been triple-teaming him, but he's proving now that he wont let the tough defense falter his game. Portland now trails by just 5, 44-49.

Philadephia leads At the Half, 45-36

Andre Miller scored 11 points in the second quarter for Philadelphia, who outscored the Trail Blazers 29-15 in the second quarter. None of the Trail Blazers are in the double digits yet in scoring, Roy leading with 9. Meanwhile the 76ers have three players with double digits: Carney, Miller, and Iguodala.

The Trail Blazers will have to step it up in the second half if they want to keep their massive winning streak afloat.

The 3rd quarter is just about to start. Let's go Trail Blazers!

Tied Game, 2 To Go In the Half
posted: at 3:47 PM

Unlike the last time Portland played Philadelphia, the 76ers have kept it close all game. Around this point in the last match-up Portland held a 25 point lead. Philadelphia will have nothing to do with that kind of gap this time around, outscoring Portland in the quarter so far and tying up the game at 36 a-piece.

However, Portland also has not forgot the last match-up, and they are going to make sure this time around the 76ers don't run away with the victory. Even though Portland is currently struggling to get their shots off, fans can expect a big push in the second half from the home team, much like the push Philadelphia made in the second half of the last match-up.
