What is it luck, or determination?

In my wildest dreams I could not figure this.

I was ready to shut off TV and pack it.

If Winning is all that counts, how come do I feel we lost?

Big Push At End Of 3rd Cuts Hawks' Lead to 10!
posted: at 4:40 PM

Travis Outlaw sank a huge 3 pointer, which was followed up by a steal and then a basket from Channing Frye, resulting in a 10 point ball game. The Hawks lead just 73-63 as we head into the final quarter, which is infamously known to be Brandon Roy's quarter. Hopefully this time will be no different for Roy, and he can lead his team with a big run and walk away with the home victory.

Lets Go Blazers!

LaMarcus Dunks, And It's Time To Rally
posted: at 4:26 PM

After LaMarcus Aldridge picks up a pair of points with a big dunk, Atlanta's lead is reduced to 15. It's crunch time now for the Trail Blazers, they need to step it up if they want to pick up the home victory.

Having said that, James Jones just sunk a huge 3 pointer! With 6:10 to go, Portland now trails 50-62. Let the run begin!

Tough Opening Quarter For Trail Blazers
posted: at 3:29 PM

Sergio Rodriguez, the star of the last match-up with the Hawks when the Trail Blazers played in Atlanta, sunk the final basket of the quarter, bringing his total to four. Despite a small push from Rodriguez, it has been a dismal start for the Trail Blazers, who trail by 10, 19-29 at the end of the first quarter. Hopefully there will be a change of pace in the second period, and the Trail Blazers can regain the lead before heading into half time.

Joe Johnson leads the HAwks with 8 points.

Atlanta On 11-2 Run Early
posted: at 3:12 PM

The Trail Blazers started the game with a 4-0 lead, but Atlanta quickly got their game in check and have since gone on an 11-2 run, bringing the score to 11-6 Atlanta at the first time out. Hopefully after a quick pep talk from Nate McMillan the Trail Blazers will reverse roles with the Hawks, and begin their own run.
