10 triumphs makes Trail Blazers the toast of the town
posted: Friday, December 21, 2007 at 9:32 PM

The Trail Blazers have won ten straight games after a tremendous fourth quarter comeback against the Denver Nuggets. Portland won 99-96, but trailed by seven going into the final period.

Martell Webster led the Trail Blazers with 19 points. LaMarcus Aldidge had 18 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Brandon Roy also scored 18 points and dished out five assists.

The heroes of the fourth quarter were Travis Outlaw and James Jones. Outlaw scored 11 of his 12 points in the final stanza and was all over the floor with his hustle play. Jones scored 14 points, seven in the fourth quarter, and was a steady scoring option.

Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson each scored 34 points for the Nuggets, but it just wasn't enough to stop these Trail Blazers.

The Trail Blazers will look for an eleventh straight victory on Christmas day against their local rivals, the Seattle Supersonics. See you there!
