Trailblazers WIN 101-77

The Trailblazers reached the century mark tonight against the Kings, winning 101-77. Travis Outlaw led all scorers with 25 points. Lamarcus scored 18, and Martell had 17 and 9 rebounds. It was a good win. The Trailblazers maintained control of the game from the opening tip.

Martell catches a HUUUUUGE alley-oop from Jarret... that one shook the building. Martell follows that up with a 3 pointer from the corner on the next possession. Martell has 15 points and the Trailblazers lead by 20.

As the seconds run down on the third quarter, Jarret leads the fast break and finds B-Roy for an open jumper with just over 1 second remaining. With just the fourth quarter to go, the Trailblazers lead 76-58. Lamarcus has 18 points, Martell has 10 and 7 rebounds, and TO has 13 points.

Martell appears to be fine. He's back in the game sporting a bandage over his eye. It doesn't look like it will obstruct his view at all.

Martell Webster, who left the game in the third quarter, received 6 stitches above his right eye. It doesn't seem too serious, as he will likely return tonight.

TO hits another deep jumper off the dribble. He's got 11 points tonight. The Trailblazers seem to have complete control of this game - they lead 70-54. Then off a loose ball he throws down a reverse dunk.

Travis Outlaw enters the game

T.O. comes in, gets a dish from B-Roy and catches the ball from 21 feet and cans a jumper. It was really a smooth motion and Travis got in a good rythm. Hopefully this is something good to come this year... Travis hitting his outside jumper.

The Crowd

The crowd is pretty good for a preseason game. There are some red seats visible, but you can tell that the Rose Garden will be rocking for opening night.

How big does LaMarcus Aldridge look?!?

He looks like he's put on at least 25 lbs since the end of last year, and he's really throwing that extra weight around tonight.

On DirectTV it looks like the Blazers are running a 2-1-2 zone with Webster guarding the first guy down the floor... Is that what it looks like at the Rose Garden?

Roy looks a little rusty, but he'll get there as he gets more game time under his belt.

The ROY on the court???

With just over 10 minutes to game time, it looks like Brandon Roy will play at the Rose Garden for the first time since April. He's warming up with the team and is rumored to be in the starting line up.

Brandon Roy is expected to start and Jarrett Jack is going to take the night off...

One of the biggest things Coach Nate McMillan stressed in his recent interview with OregonLive is the Taureen Green & Brandon Roy combo.

Let us know when Green gets ready to go in!
