End of the half
posted: at 8:05 PM

The first half is over and the Trail Blazers lead 49-43.

LaMarcus Aldridge and Brandon Roy each have 12 points. Aldridge also has five rebounds and two blocks. Jarrett Jack has nine points.

The Bulls are being carried by 12 points from Joe Smith and nine points from Thabo Sefolosha. Smith and Sefolosha combine to average just 15 points per game, but without three of their top four scorers, someone had to step up for the Bulls.

The Trail Blazers led by as many as 13 points in the first half and will look to regain a commanding lead in the third quarter.

End of the first quarter

The first quarter is over and we have a tight game. The score is 27-21, Trail Blazers lead.

The Trail Blazers went on a little run at the end of the quarter as their zone defense was extremely effective against a poor-shooting Chicago team.

LaMarcus Aldridge leads the Trail Blazers with 10 points. Brandon Roy scored eight points in the quarter.

Joe Smith leads the Bulls with eight points. Ben Wallace has six.

Let's see if the Trail Blazers can continue this run in the second quarter.

Note: Taurean Green's college teammate Joakim Noah will play significant minutes for the Bulls tonight.

Time to rope the Bulls
posted: at 7:22 PM

These last four games have been crazy. Four straight games that have been decided in the final moments. Two games that have reached overtime. Two heartbreaking last-second losses. One incredible defensive stop.

If that much excitement is needed for a win tonight, I'm all for it. But maybe we can get that win without giving me another heart attack.

The Trail Blazers host the Chicago Bulls tonight in their final match-up of the season. In their last game, it took two overtimes for the Trail Blazers to pull out a 115-109 win.

The Trail Blazers are led by their All-Star and fearless leader Brandon Roy. B-Roy got the first triple-double of his career on Friday and nearly got his second on Monday.

The Bulls are led by sixth-man extrordinaire Ben Gordon. Gordon leads the Bulls in minutes played and scoring, but comes off the bench for an extra spark. The Bulls will be without Luol Deng, who is averaging 18 points per game this season.

Game time is 7:00, so tune in.

Let's go Trail Blazers!
