LaFrentz is putting in work down low...

If effort is the deciding factor tonight, Portland definitely has the edge early. Not only did Joel Pryzbilla start the game with two absolutely huge blocks, but Brandon Roy has also turned away a Raptor lay-up attempt.

LaFrentz, however, has been the biggest story so far. The center/forward has grabbed rebounds, caught passes and converted big shots from the paint to give the Trail Blazers a gigantic boost off the bench. Raef has 8 points and 1 rebound.

Blaze, the Trail Blazers mascot, also granted one young fan's winter wishes during the break by giving him a Blazer Dancer in a swimsuit for the holidays. There's been no word on whether the other Blazer Dancers are still available, but if they aren't, there's always the Blazer Dancer swimsuit calendar, which is a great gift for any fan!
