A Tough One

Well, it didn’t come together late for the Trail Blazers tonight, as they fell to Atlanta, 107-96. It’s too bad, because Portland could have used some positive momentum going into their six-game road trip.

The last three Trail Blazer losses remind me somewhat of Portland’s early string of come-behind victories, except as of late the Trail Blazers have been unable to come up with that last burst of energy – be it the big shots or stops needed – to come up with the win. And that’s just the way the ball bounces sometimes.

And though no one can be happy about a losing streak, it is worth noting that the Trail Blazers have been quite competitive in these games.

Good games from Zach, Sergio, Jack and Martell Webster, but it wouldn’t be enough to stop five Hawks scoring in double-figures. Joe Johnson led all scorers with 33 – his fourth straight 30+ point game.

On another note, the Game-Time Blog will be off until Trail Blazers return home to face the Clippers, December 15h. But I’d like to extend the invitation for everyone to sign up and make comments during the games. Let’s turn this place into THE spot for online game-time action and discussion.

Until then, thanks for reading.

-Andrew

What's up with Travis Outlaw, why hasn't he been playing lately? Did he happen to make someone's DOGG-POUND
PLAYING WITH OUT A COLLAR!

He's a good D-player, lots of blocks hard worker, You need him there to disrupte teams like Dallas, San Anton, Miami plus the West-Side your backyard.
Thank you for your time
