Same game, New faces...
posted: Saturday, March 03, 2007 at 6:48 PM

It was great to see Portland native and former University of Oregon standout Fred Jones make his Rose Garden debut on Thursday, but Trail Blazer fans may get a chance to meet yet another new face.

Forward Jeremy Richardson signed a ten day contract with the Trail Blazers and is eligible for tonight's game against the Kings. Richardson averaged 17.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists for the Ft. Worth Flyers of the NBA's Development League.

The Trail Blazers needed to sign Richardson to fill out their roster, which took a tough hit when center Joel Pryzbilla discovered the need for arthroscopic knee surgery. Forward Raef LaFrentz has also been sidelined with injuries for much of the year.
