Deron is doubtful...
posted: Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 6:49 PM

After all the hype surrounding the Roy - Williams match-up, the Utah Jazz have issued a statement explaining that Deron may not see serious action against the Trail Blazers.

Apparently, Williams tweaked a groin muscle during the All-Star Rookie-Sophomore Challenge.

It's tough to say if Utah is just scared of Brandon Roy dominating their starting point guard and causing emotional trauma or if he is legitimately aching after a week in Vegas...

Regardless, it's good news for the Trail Blazers who may not have to worry about Utah's top two offensive weapons, Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer.

Starting lineups are set to get underway and tip-off is just around the corner!
