The Return of Spanish Chocolate!!!
posted: Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 6:40 PM

All Trail Blazers fans wanted for Valentine's Day was some Spanish Chocolate, but after suffering a severe ankle injury, we had to settle for Hershey's Kisses...

But tonight Sergio is ready to strap up and get back in the action against the Utah Jazz.

Rookie point guard Sergio Rodriguez is expected to return to action against the Jazz after suffering a severely sprained ankle. On the year, Sergio has averaged 13.5 assists per 48 minutes and trails only Steve Nash for the league lead.

Sergio’s absence from the NBA All-Star Rookie Challenge, may have been what doomed the Rookie team. Without much in terms of a true point guard- Brandon Roy played his more natural shooting guard position- the Rookies failed to execute and create open shots for each other. The Sophomores, on the other hand, who had natural point guards in Chris Paul and Deron Williams, were able to dish 44 assists on their way to an easy victory.
