Half-time tribute to state champions...
posted: Sunday, January 21, 2007 at 7:14 PM

Oregon has had one of the most exciting session of sports in high school history this year and the Trail Blazers have decided to celebrate this athletic achievement with a dodgeball tournament.

The tournament featured champions from football, cross country, soccer and volleyball...

At half time, Portland fans have every reason in the world to be excited. Not only are the Trail Blazers up 13, 58 - 45, but they've controlled nearly every aspect of the game from the get-go. Portland has out-rebounded the Bucks 24 - 17, dished more assists (14 - 6), blocked more shots (2 - 0), and turned the ball over fewer times (5 - 7).

Randolph leads all Trail Blazers with 13 points, but he has seen a lot of competition from Brandon Roy and Martell Webster. Roy has 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists, and Webster has lit up the Bucks for 10 points of his own.

In other news, congratulations to the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts, who will be playing in this year's Super Bowl. The Colts and Peyton Manning finally beat Tom Brady and the Patriots in the AFC Championship game...

It's back to action for the Trail Blazers as they look to seal the deal against Milwaukee. 58 points down and only 42 left to go for free Chalupas!
