End of the first half
posted: Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 4:08 PM

What an effort from Travis Outlaw and the Trail Blazers. At the end of the first half, the Trail Blazers lead 54-47 behind 15 points from Outlaw and nine points from Brandon Roy. Joel Przybilla added seven points and eight rebounds.

The Trail Blazers led by as many as 17 points in what has been a very physical game. Kevin Garnett has scrapped with Przybilla and LaMarcus Aldridge.

The Trail Blazers have forced 10 Celtics turnovers, and have gathered eight steals in the process. Raef LaFrentz came off the bench and got two steals and drew a charge as he helped spark the Portland run at the end of the first quarter.

The Celtics are led by 12 points from Paul Pierce and nine points from Rajon Rondo.

The Trail Blazers are dominating the offensive glass with 10 offensive rebounds, four from Przybilla. Those rebounds have led to a 12-3 advantage in second-chance points.

Let's see if the Trail Blazers can continue their tough play and earn a win against one of the NBA's best teams!!!
