Tough pill to swallow

LeBron James drove to the basket and hit a layup over three Trail Blazers with just 0.3 seconds remaining. The Trail Blazers were unable to convert a miracle basket and the game ended 84-83, Cavaliers win.

Brandon Roy scored 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out eight assists. He played solid defense on LeBron, but it wasn't enough.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Travis Outlaw added 13 points and Steve Blake scored 10. Joel Przybilla scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds.

LeBron led all players with 37 points and 14 rebounds. He scored 17 of Cleveland's 22 points in the fourth quarter as he completely took over the game.

The Trail Blazers are on ESPN again on Friday night when Zach Randolph and the New York Knicks come to the Rose Garden. With Z-Bo in town it's sure to be a packed house. Don't miss it!

This will go down as the worst loss of the season. They got what they deserved tonight. I know, I know James is great but that was poor coaching and poor offensive exection on that last posession. On national tv no less. Why does only big man sit on the bench with 5 to go? Nate, please understand you need to play Joel in crunch time. He blocks shots, fills the lane and rebounds. You need to figure this out. Remember when Chris Bosh tore us up inside on the road trip? No Joel! Didn't he stuff Lebron a couple time in the fourth quarter tonight? Joel on the floor and James doesn't lay it in uncontested like that. Poor coaching tonight and a poor "we have this wrapped up attitude" as well. I love this team and that is why it hurt so bad. If Joel was on the floor I think they settle for a lower percentage shot! Just my two cents. See you at the Knicks game.

I have to agree! Bad coaching and a 4th quarter melt down reminiscent of last season. No Joel, no win! I feel bad for Joel. He could have won this game for us but instead he sat on the bench. We totally controlled this whole game and to lose because of no interior defense, what a shame!!!!!!I wonder if games like this will affect the fragile nature of our players? Here's to beating the knicks and hoping that Joel sees minutes at the end of the game!

I am lost for words on how the Blazers just blew an 14 point lead to Lebron James (oh yea, and the Cavs too)... The only thing I am thinking right now is why wasn't Joel Pryzbilla in the game on the final play on defense?? Remember those 2 separate block shots he had on Lebron alone??? Nate... Explain yourself???

Also, Martell Webster was playing some major crunch time 4th quarter minutes and to my memory, didn't so a thing in the quarter... He finished with 30 minutes, 3-9 shooting, 2 rebounds, and 0 assists... Why was he playing in the 4th when he hasn't had an okay game since Jan. 9th vs. the Warriors... that's 3 weeks!! Nate... explain yourself???

watching the game tonight i learned about this trade rumor finally and i would no doubt like to have devin harris run the ponit for this team but i am not willing to give up TRAVIS OUTLAW he is coming into his own and he will only get better and maybe we could give TAUREN GREEN a chance he did lead the gators to back to back championships! just a thought

Agree.Poor coaching, even poorer offensive executions down the stretch.Maybe we can take the loss and learn from it to be a better team.

I agree one hundred percent. I have witnessed countless times this year when we were in the game with Joel in and not without him. It’s obvious in these games that Joel could turn the game around but Nate won’t go back with him. Come on coach have some faith in him especially down the stretch.
