The Trail Blazers have defeated the Timberwolves 109-98 and have now won an incredible 12 games in a row.

The Trail Blazers were led by their sophomore stars Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge. Roy scored 22 points, collected six rebounds and dished out five assists. Aldridge scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

The Trail Blazers had four other players with double-figure scoring nights: Jarrett Jack with 14 points, Channing Frye with 13, Steve Blake with 12 and James Jones with 12.

The Timberwolves were led by 22 points and seven rebounds from Al Jefferson. Rashad McCants added 21 points and Ryan Gomes scored 16. Sebastian Telfair dished out 11 assists before collecting his sixth foul.

The Trail Blazers dominated the offensive glass, collecting 14 offensive rebounds that led to 21 second-chance points.

The Trail Blazers bench was a major contributor again, as the White Squad scored 46 points.

That's 12 in a row for the Trail Blazers, who are now 6-1 in games against Northwest Division opponents.

The Trail Blazers next take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. as they go for their 13th in a row!!!

Don't miss it!!!

No one can say the TRAILBLAZERS are not hot. Look at the stats.
That’s T.W.E.L.V.E consecutive in the win column. Rebounds, Assists, six players scoring in double digits What’s really impressive is their Defensive stats any team can score but, it's usually the team that stops the other team from scoring that gets the W. Let’s see what the Streaking Blazers can do in January on the road against the often unfairly higher touted eastern conference teams in their house.
Chances are they keep up the "D" and they will keep getting the wins.

BRoy does so many little things well. He steals the ball, blocks shots, hussles to get the loose ball, and feeds his team mates the ball at the right time. He is one of the most unselfish ALLSTARS I have ever seen. What a leader!!!!!

12 is also the largest point margin of any of their wins. Meanwhile they won an overtime game, a 1-pointer, a 3-pointer, and a 5-pointer. They are winning the close ones. This is good because nothing is more discouraging for a team than to lose close games. For such a young team they are exhibiting the maturity of a veteran team that is used to winning. I hope this continues. I think the keys are teamwork, their deep bench, and being hungry - just like a prize fighter that is getting a title shot at the champion.
