Count it as an assist?

Two lucky fans of Trail Blazers basketball just decided to take their relationship to the next level with a mid-second quarter marriage proposal.

On the season, the Rose Garden has yet to see a rejection, other than the blocked shots by LaMarcus Aldridge, Travis Outlaw and the rest of the Trail Blazers frontline.

But when it comes to marriage proposals, everything comes up roses in the Rose Garden.

Headed into halftime it's 57 - 51 Kings, but the game is far from over. Jarrett Jack leads all Trail Blazers with 9 points, but they have four players right on his tails. Roy, Udoka and Webster all have 8 points and Zach Randolph has 7.

For the Kings, it's been the Kevin Martin show. Martin has 19 points and 3 assists to lead the Kings.

In the second half, Portland needs to make a concerted effort to challenge every attempt by the Kings shooting guard. The Kings seem to be utilizing the same double-screen, fastbreak offense that Duke uses to get their best shooter open.
