But back to the slower pace, which favors Portland. It is basically the same game plan that coach McMillan used effectively in Phoenix (where Portland ALMOST stole the win). Same idea here against the running and gunning Nuggets; reduce the number of shots and grind the game out with rebounds, hustle plays and tough 'D'.
